The homepage of the intranet contains a 'Most recent documents' application that shows the logged in user the recent documents they have edited/viewed so they can easily gain quick repeat access. It also presents interesting documents that their colleagues are working on to keep them abreast of what else is happening in the organisation.

Reporting is delivered via Power BI or traditional Microsoft reporting tooling such as Reporting Services, Analysis Services and SQL.

Power BI connects to a multitude of data sources natively providing extensive BI functionality. It connects to Azure services such as Stream Analytics for realtime reporting and big data sources such as Hadoop.
